Brunswick Womens Theatre and Asylum Seekers Resource Centre. March 2010
My work with individual people and communities enable them to express themselves, through using vocal themes and/or stories particular to their situations by creating individual Soundscapes. (Audio storytelling with music). Some of these have been commissioned by parents of young children to preserve the beauty and innocence of their child’s voice.

I have worked with the Brunswick Women's Theatre, creating audio backdrops for community plays for the past 3 to 4 years, including composing the music for the reading "Prostitute. Who is She?" a play directed by Catherine Simmonds from Brunswick Women’s Theatre in affiliation with Project Respect. I also worked with percussionist Eugene Ughetti for the final reading and performance. The play was based on stories of women within the sex industry including the stories of women trafficked from Thailand.

Making_A_Scene_Festival

Making a Scene Festival.  During 2008 I composed the music and Sound-scape for “Making a Scene Festival” in 2008.

"Over a week of performances styled on the Augusto Boal definition of forum festival, four community groups call on local councils, service providers of community welfare, mental health, domestic violence support, human services, education providers, migrant resource centres and government policy to come and engage in this innovative exploration of community issues." This is an excerpt from the Making a Scene program.
